A little trip to 'Primarni' ...

Primark.

The place of cheap clothes and home furnishings.

I decided to make a trip to Primark as I needed some tights and came across these two tops which had caught my eye. Getting into the summer season with this beautiful weather, I thought they were a perfect buy, so made a purchase =)

A light cotton print and tie front top with two pocket details at the front and collar.

A peter pan collar slip on top with button detailing along the placket and pocket flap front.

Finally finished my knit....

Hiya, you've probably forgotten about this but I started knitting a scarf for my sister just before christmas in 2010 and never had enough time to complete it during last year. However,  just after christmas I managed to complete it for the new year and give it to my sister!

Here's how it started in my previous post... http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=2389725998184588053#editor/target=post;postID=3111637839711501845

After completing the scarf I actually wanted to knit one for myself! =P I was very happy with the colour arrangement as when knitting I wasn't 100% sure on where the colours would finish or if would look nice. It also finished at a nice length with the width of the scarf.

As you can see by the pictures, my sister was very delighted to receive my present, which is very warm and cosy!

Not sure when I will next have the time to knit as I am in my third year of university! Hopefully soon though and surprise you with something ^^

Have a lovely day xXx

Everyone loves a bit of Westwood ~

Self explanatory <3

Christmas & New year buys

What better time to do shopping?! Here are a few purchases from my little cheeky shopping trip with the family:

Sale £19 from Jane Norman

Sale £16 Jane Norman (not purchased)

Sale £16 Jane Norman

I was very surprised myself with making purchases in Jane Norman as I prefer not to shop there due to the quality of its clothes and sometimes style if I dare mention it. But during my wonder in the shop with my sister, i found these two dresses which caught my eye and was at a reasonable price to buy. Both dresses were quite comfortable as the fit was ok, but still the quality of the fabrics aren't that great to be honest. Not a bad find overall.

Nicky Clarke Hair dryer and straighteners £25 from £60, Giorgio Armani perfume gift set with perfume bag, 50ml perfume and body lotion £27 from £54 --> Both at Debenhams.

These two items purchased where great finds as they are both useful and at a bargain price! The hair dryer and straighteners both work very great with an elegant design on both of the products by Nicky Clarke.

Going shopping and aiming not to make a purchase always fails, so you might as well make a good purchase!

Forever 21

Within the past year Forever 21 has expanded quite drastically, opening branches in London's Oxford Street and the new shopping centre Westfield in East London, Stratford. So why not take a look at to what's to offer!

Stratford, Westfield
The store itself is quite spacious with a lot of room in the changing rooms, making it feel comfortable and not claustrophobic to walk around in.

Some purchases:

Cobalt blue fitted blazer about £25

Lose fitting blush coloured blazer about £20

Short sleeved black and blue knit about £15

The prices are reasonable with the quality of the clothing and the fit. I would definitely recommend stopping by at the store, especially for some statement pieces i.e. the blue blazer above, and to also add some colour in your wardrobe!

Bargain much?

Shopping with my sister is always enjoyable, having a nice chat and trying on beautiful clothes! Nothing a girl can have too much of ^.^

My bargain purchases for the day-->

Barrats :: £12. A back heel fastening for easy access. Great to be worn on a night out!

Barrats :: £12. These are a special find! Great for special occasions, with both suede and leather outer fabrics.

As well as a bargain i did manage to purchase a piece of knitwear with a 20% discount from full price from Jane Norman. To be honest, i am not much of a fan of the retail store, as i think most of their clothing looks a bit cheap and the quality isn't that great. However, i came across this knit with a bird print with bat wings, similar to a print i saw in Miss Selfridge and it was a good fit which will be good for the winter to come!

Jane Norman : Jumper :: £25.60 (with 20% promotional discount)
